EOTW Festival 2011 will be dedicated to the memory of Bob Bullechuk who passed away suddenly in December 2010. Bob was a huge contributor to the arts scene on Haida Gwaii for many years. He was actively involved in our music festival for over 30 years (before it was even the present day Edge of The World Music Festival) as well as a regular performer with The Crabapple Creek Electric Jug Band at many island events.

Although in the planning stages, the concept for the special Friday night set is a retrospective of Bob’s  original songs performed by local musicians familiar with those songs.  The finale would be all the musicians sharing featured lines of “Living at the Edge of the World” which was written specially for the festival.
